A Merke Status Update!
I'm sick of having to defend myself against people.
But I like the opportunities it brings for sarcasm, humour(Mostly just myself chuckling) and the exposure of the stupidity of others.
All in all, defending myself is a good thing.

What's that coming over the hill? Fuck! Rogue Nerfs!
* The base damage bonus from Hunger for Blood has been reduced from 10% to 5%.
* The bonus damage rogues gain from attack power for poisons has been decreased. This applies to Instant Poison, Deadly Poison, and Wound Poison.
Wound coefficient is down from: "0.04*AP" to "0.036*AP"
Deadly from: "0.12*AP" to "0.108*AP"
The Mutilate spec nerf was expected, but was a hotfix really necessary? O.o Their reason for doing it this way was that to tweak HfB would purely affect Mutilate damage and not the other specs. This makes me wonder though; how long until Mutilate is a 0% damage gain so that the spec is "Balanced"? *grins* A 5% straight damage nerf.
The poison change obviously affects all Rogue specs. It's been estimated to be about 2% for Combat and slightly more for Mutilate. This will affect how Rogues scale with Attack Power (Damnit, my new theorycrafting!)but thankfully nothing major.
Overall, Mutilate and Combat will be a lot closer to eachother with Mutilate still pulling out slightly ahead. I'll post my thread containing my two weeks of theory devising (Theory-what? Errrmm... *closes eyes and points at something on page* That ones better!)

Laz's Demotion
I seldom bring Guild Politics to my wonderful, amazing Blog. However there is always a time and a place. I like Laz, he makes me chuckle, he's a good Raider, etc. Some people are just blind to see when they are in the wrong.
The results from the Recent Raiding Survey posed a question "What do you like the most about the Guild" and one of THE main responses was the family feel and the great feeling of Team. Therefore, to allow people to work against this infrastructure of the guild will inevitably be detrimental and hazardess to its continuation of what it is. I agree 100% with the punishment dished out; were it a first offence perhaps not but then how many other ocassions should he have been limbo'd for and has walked away without any form of punishment.
He is not bigger than Echoes of Lordaeron, I am not bigger than Echoes, ultimately, Liesje is not bigger than Echoes of Lordaeron. The Guild is unique in what it is and it won't change. There are reasons myself and Airsha went to Numen, for example. There are reasons for the creation of Soulforge. The Guild will stand firm in its roots and if it has become something that does not live up to someones wants or needs, it is time for them to move on.

Merkes Thoughts on Big Brother
I dwelled over this whilst flicking through the channels, coming to the one that inevitably had a bunch of people in their beds on webcam. I changed the channel again as I wasn't hot enough for porn, and came to Big Brother but with ugly, annoying fuckers. Turns out, Big Brother to the socialite is the same as Porn to... Well. Man.
It didn't take long to realise who they had in there this year... And I realised just how much a debt the world would owe me if I unleashed my plan. The plan that details 'Get Vinnie Jones the fuck out of there, then blow the place to kingdom-come; Basshunter can come too but only if the price is right.'
I think I would be Knighted, and paid a Manchester City Footballers Wages for the remainder of my days. I'd probably even get a world-wide day of holiday and celebration declared in my honour.
Always something to consider.
